Archetype Custom Framing is a full-service, custom picture framing shop located in Toronto. We specialize in conservation framing techniques using the highest quality archival materials. We work with artists, designers, collectors, galleries, institutions and anyone looking for the perfect frame to protect and preserve their art. We offer a range of contemporary hardwood frames including walnut, cherry, ash and maple, which are hand finished in-house and we can custom tint lacquers and stains to match and compliment any artwork. We specialize in framing original artworks and objects, antique maps and ephemera, photographs, paintings and prints.

Located just minutes from York University, we can help you find the perfect frame for your degrees, diplomas and certificates. Our dedicated staff also offers fine art printing and photo mounting services, a convenient option if the artwork or photograph you would like to frame is in digital format.
